Before BYU

  • Earned tournament titles at the 2006 U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier in Boise, Idaho, 2006 Idaho Golf Association State tournament, 2007 Junior World qualifier in Boise, Idaho, 2008 Idaho Falls Match Play event and 2009 Preston Amateur
  • On the regional level, won the 2007 John Dropping Invitational and the 2007 Rocky Mountain Junior PGA event in Twin Falls, Idaho
  • Placed second at the 2008 PNGA Junior Amateur in Burley, Idaho
  • Finished 21st at the 2007 Junior PGA Championship
  • 2007 AJGA Scholastic All-American
  • 2006 and 2007 Junior America's Cup Team Member
  • 2006 and 2007 Junior Hogan Cup Team Member
  • Three-time individual state golf champion while at Shelley High School
  • Helped his team win the Idaho State Championship all four years.
