Finished 15th in the 500 free at the Mountain West Conference Championships with a season-high time of 4:36.09 achieved during prelims ... finished higher than any other Cougar in the 100 back at MWC Championships placing seventh with a final time of 50.75, a season high ... led off the second-place 400 medley relay team at MWC Championships with a time of 3:17.94 ... finished higher than any other Cougar in the 200 back at MWC Championships placing 10th with a final time of 1:49.02 ... earned first-team All-MWC honors for his performance in the 400 medley relay at MWC Championships.
Held top times for BYU during the 07-08 season including fifth in the 500 free with a time of 4:37.04, third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 50.44 and second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:49.55, all which he achieved at the the Mountain West Conference Championships.
