1996-1997 MVP and captain of Sky View HS state championship team...1994-1995 Rookie of the Year at Mountain Crest HS...four-year Region V 100-yard backstroke champion, setting a new region record each year...also holds region records in 200 free, 200 IM, 200 and 400 medley relay...1996 medley relay and 200 free relay champion and 1997 Utah State 4A 100 back and 200 medley relay champion (state 4A record)...swimming for the Logan Gators Swim Team, set Utah state senior short course records in the 100 and 200 back, the 100, 200, 500 and 1000 free and 200 IM
12th in the WAC in the 100 back and 14th in the 200 back.
Swam second-fastest time in 500 free...WAC finalist in 500 free, 100 and 200 back...swam with 800 free relay team that finished fourth in the WAC.
