The daughter of Brent and Jan Newren ... sisters, Nicole and Rachel, play on the BYU golf team...majoring in Commercial Recreation Management, and minoring in Business...tied her best collegiate round at the Kent Youel Invitational in Hawai`i.

*Played all four years of golf at Cottonwood High School
*Placed second at the 1999 Utah State Championship at Eagle Wood Golf Course in Bountiful
*Won the Utah State Amateur in 2001
*Placed ninth at the PGA National in 2000
