PROVO -- Due to weather concerns, the BYU women’s track and field team has cancelled the BYU Tri-Meet this weekend that was to include the Cougars and the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

“We will make a full effort at the Weber Twilight meet next Wednesday,” BYU head coach Craig Poole said.

Mark Robison and the men's track and field team will compete in a "mini-meet" this Friday at approximately 4:00 p.m. MST. The men will face off with athletes from Utah Valley University.

In addition, the BYU High School Invitational will continue as scheduled.

The final regular season meet for the women's track and field team will be Wednesday, May 5 at Weber State. Further details including start times will be available early next week.
