Cougars advance 14 to NCAA West Preliminaries
PROVO, Utah – All-American middle distance runner Kelsey Brown will lead 14 BYU athletes at the NCAA Division I 2013 Outdoor Track & Field Championships West Preliminary in Austin, Texas, on May 23 to 25.
Brown is ranked fourth in the region in the 800-meters and will look to advance to the NCAA Championships.
The top 48 athletes in the region in each event qualify for the Preliminary Rounds. In the preliminaries, the top 12 athletes in each event move on to the NCAA championships, June 6 to 9 in Eugene, Ore.
