BYU Track Continues Outdoor Season with Trojan Invite
PROVO, Utah—The BYU men’s and women’s track and field teams continue their outdoor season this weekend and head back to California to participate in the Trojan Invitational at Loker Stadium on Friday and Saturday.
The Cougars will be competing against top competition, including three-time defending NCAA men’s and women’s champion Texas A&M and three-time defending Pac-10 men’s and women’s champion Oregon.
Other schools participating in the meet include Washington, Washington State and Big Ten member Michigan.
BYU will have four indoor All-Americans participating in the meet this weekend, including Ryan Waite in the 1500m and 800m, Cade Lindahl in the 400m and 200m, Sarah Edwards in the 1500m and Christen Guenther in the pole vault.
The meet begins on Friday at 2 p.m. PST with the women’s hammer throw and will conclude on Saturday with the men’s 4x400 meter relay at 3:30 p.m.
Results from the meet will be posted at the conclusion of the meet on USCTrojans.com.
