Track & Field Travels to Arizona
PROVO -- The BYU men's and women's track and field teams will travel to Arizona to compete in the Sun Angel Invitational and the Mesa Classic this Friday and Saturday.
The Sun Angel Invitational will be hosted by Arizona State University and will include Alabama, Arizona, ASU, BYU, Auburn, Baylor, Boise State, Colorado State, Florida, Northern Arizona and USC. The meet will begin Saturday at 8 a.m. and will end about 9:30 p.m. The 2003 Mesa Classic will be held Friday at Mesa Community College. The meet will start at 1 p.m. and the last event, men's 5,000-meter run, will begin at 9:30 p.m.
Some athletes from the men's team will also compete Saturday in the Wildcat Invitational in Ogden, Utah. Weber State will host the event, which will include BYU, Idaho State, Montana State, Utah, Utah State and Wyoming.
