PROVO, Utah — BYU track and field kicked off its final home meet of the outdoor season at Clarence F. Robison Track & Field on Friday, highlighted by 30 total personal bests, a top-10 mark and a new women's 4x100-meter relay school record, for the second time this year.

Women's Recap
Taye Raymond, Adaobi Tabugbo, Dolita Awala-Shaw and Annalise Hart teamed up to break their own outdoor 4x100m school record of 44.68, set at the Desert Heat Classic on April 30. The squad ran a 44.63 on Friday to best the previous record by five milliseconds.

Halley Folsom Walker set new personal bests in both the 100-meter hurdles (13.97) and 400-meter hurdles (58.08).

Four different women's throwers set personal bests, including Gretchen Hoekstre in the discus throw, whose mark of 53.10m/174-2.5 was good for No. 7 all-time in school history. Jayda Lee's 45.72m/150-0 was also a personal best in the event.

Lee also set a personal best in the hammer throw, going 53.36m/176-0.5. Jessica Thompson (54.94m/180-3) and Leah Thompson (48.12m/157-10.5) both set personal bests in the event as well.

Anastaysia Davis' 4:51.38 was good for a new personal best in the mile, before Raymond (24.00), Awala-Shaw (24.14), Sami Oblad (25.04), Lauryn Ford (25.11) and Catherine Phipps (26.38) each set personal bests in the 200-meters to conclude the afternoon. 

Men's Recap
BYU men’s track and field athletes racked up 17 personal records on Friday, seven of which came in the 200m.

Dallin Draper clocked a time of 20.86, just 0.12 seconds from tying Dale Connolly (1977) for No. 10 all-time at BYU. Trey Jackson (21.11), Jared Davis (21.14) and Easton Bianchi (21.29) followed quickly behind Draper in places second through fourth with personal-bests of their own.

Spencer Carlile and Jace Jensen took the top two spots in the men’s 400m hurdles with personal-bests of 51.77 and 51.93, respectively.

Conner Kennedy set a personal-best in the men’s long jump with a mark of 7.40m/24-3.25. Danny Bryant recorded a new personal-best hammer throw at 55.76m/182-11.25

All four Cougars competing in the decathlon 100-meters clocked career-best times. Despite Friday’s dash being the first of Nathan Burnett’s collegiate career, the sophomore from Albuquerque, N.M. won the race at 11.05. AJ Beynon came in second at 11.06, Dallin Vorkink at 11.09 and Joe Nelson at 11.51.

The BYU Cougar Invitational will conclude on Saturday, May 14, with day two action beginning with the women's 5000m at 8:30 a.m. MDT. A full schedule of the meet can be found here
