Men's distance competes at Payton Jordan Invitational

STANFORD, Calif. — Four BYU men’s distance runners competed in Stanford’s Payton Jordan Invitational at Cobb Track on Friday night.

Payton Jordan Invitational Complete Results

Garrett Marsing took the team’s best finish of the night, coming in 13th at 8:56.18 in the steeplechase.

Brandon Garnica finished 14th in the 5000m Invite with a time of 13:37.18, while Aidan Troutner took 16th in Section 2 of the 5000m at 14:02.01.

Justin Hartshorn finished the night with a time of 29:59.26 to take 18th in the 10,000m.

The remainder of BYU men’s track and field will compete at the Desert Heat Classic in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday beginning at 2:30 p.m. PDT.
