Robison Invitational begins with multis on Wednesday
PROVO, Utah — BYU track and field’s heptathletes and decathletes kicked off the home opener at Robison Track and Field on Wednesday.

Men’s Recap
Dallin Vorkink and Joe Nelson competed in the decathlon on Wednesday with Vorkink leading the pack through five events with a score of 3772. Nelson heads into Thursday in eighth at 3369 points.
Vorkink finished top-four in each of his events, with a runner-up finish in the 100m and shot put, and a tie for second in high jump. The Kirksville, Missouri native set personal-bests in the high jump (1.97m/6-5.5) and 400m (50.49).
The decathlon continues at 12 p.m. MDT on Thursday with the 110m hurdles, discus throw, pole vault, javelin throw and 1500m.
Women’s Recap
Halley Folsom Walker and Marci Torgerson competed in the first three events of the day before scratching from the 200m. Folsom Walker set a new personal best in the 100m hurdles, clocking a 13.99 first-place finish. Macyi Torgerson won the high jump, and also set a personal best, clearing 1.66m/5-5.25. Both athletes will compete again in various events on Friday.
