Cougars set to compete at Weber State Twilight Invitational
PROVO, Utah – The BYU track and field team will compete May 3-4 in the Weber State Twilight Invitational at the Chick Hislop Track and Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah.

The BYU men’s team held steady at No. 2 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s national ratings while the BYU women’s team jumped 13 spots to No. 9, reclaiming a spot in the top 10.
The BYU men’s team currently has the top-ranked 1500m squad and 3000m steeplechase squad, according to the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings. The Cougars also have the No. 2 5000m squad, No. 3 10,000m squad, No. 4 javelin squad, No. 4 pole vault squad, No. 4 high jump squad, No. 4 decathlon squad (BYU men’s track and field performance list).
The women’s team currently has the top-ranked 1500m squad and 10,000m squad in the USTFCCCA Event Squad Rankings. The Cougars also have the No. 2 800m squad, No. 2 steeplechase squad, No. 2 javelin squad, No. 2 heptathlon squad and No. 6 high jump squad (BYU women’s track and field performance list).
With the Twilight Invitational being early in the week, the Cougars will also be sending athletes to the Oregon Twilight meet this week on Friday, May 7. Information regarding that meet can be found on the BYU track and field schedule page.
