WCC Tip-Off event on Monday
SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference will hold its second annual men's basketball tip-off event at Time Warner Cable Sports Studios on Monday, Oct. 29. The event will give West Coast Conference fans the ability to interact with all nine WCC head men's basketball coaches and student-athletes from each institution through a live YouTube stream and the popular WCC Live radio program, available on WCCsports.com. The 2012-13 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball preseason poll and all-conference team will be announced that day as well.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m. PT, each WCC coach and student-athlete will take part in a live video interview in which fans can submit questions via Twitter and Facebook. Hosted by Barry Tompkins, the video interviews will be streamed live on both YouTube.com and WCCsports.com.
Coaches and student-athletes will also sit down with Jeff Lampe, host of the popular WCC Live Internet talk show to preview their team's season. The special edition of WCC Live will air live beginning at Noon PDT.
Coaches and student-athletes will also spend one-on-one time with media members in attendance at the Tip-Off, in El Segundo, Calif., and sit down with video production teams from both Time Warner Cable SportsNet and WCCsports.com to capture content to be used throughout the season - including the WCC Basketball Championships in Las Vegas.
