Head coach Dave Rose
“I’m really pleased. I thought our guys played really hard, all of them played really hard, and that was a big key for us tonight.”
“We had a few guys step up and really play at a high level for us. Other guys maybe didn’t have their best game but we all played really hard together and that’s a step forward for us. I’m really happy for the guys and I look forward to next game.”
“I think the best thing with Noah is that he’s so consistent that his teammates are starting to look for him and he’s becoming our go-to guy.”
“This is a really good win for us. They’re a very talented team and can really score the ball. I thought defensively we did a nice job on them, but I really like how we attacked offensively. Any time you get a win you build confidence and that confidence will hopefully help us going into next week.”
Oregon head coach Dana Altman
“We got off to a decent start in the second half, but they got three or four opportunities and really hurt us. Second chance points 19-8 and points of turnovers, are the two areas that we have struggled with all year and we did again today.”
“They’ve got a lot of offensive weapons. They score baskets and have a lot of guys that can score. We tried to change our defense but we didn’t have a lot of success with it, although the first half the shooting percentage wasn’t good, but the offensive rebounds hurt us.”
