Cougars vs. Vermont Ticket Information Released

PROVO -- The Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y., has announced ticket information for BYU basketball’s matchup vs. Vermont on Dec. 8, 2010.

The game is a homecoming for senior All-America guard Jimmer Fredette, who grew up in Glens Falls and led Glens Falls High School to the Class A New York state title game at the Civic Center as a senior.

Tickets will go on sale Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. ET at the Civic Center Box Office or by calling 800-745-3000, with prices ranging from $30 to $85. A limited number of tickets will also be available for purchase online at Glensfallscc.com. The Civic Center’s capacity is 6,200.

Last season, Fredette led the Cougars to a 30-6 record and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 22.1 points and 4.7 assists while shooting .440 from three and .892 from the free throw line. Along the way he earned first-team All-MWC honors, all-district honors and recognition on five All-America teams.

Vermont finished last season 25-10 overall and 12-4 in the America East. The Catamounts won the America East Tournament to advance to the NCAA Tournament where they fell to Syracuse in the first round as a No. 16 seed. The Catamount’s top returner is Evan Fjeld, who averaged 10.7 points and 6.1 boards lasts season.

The game will be broadcast live on KSL Newsradio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM. Television broadcast plans will be announced at a later date.
