OKLAHOMA CITY -- Some well-deserved national attention is coming BYU’s way as a result of its 99-92 thrilling double overtime victory over Florida in the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.

Jimmer Fredette, who tied Danny Ainge’s BYU record of 37 points in a NCAA tournament game, will be on the Dan Patrick Show, Friday, March 19, 2010 at 9:45 a.m. CDT (8:45 MT). He will then appear on ESPN’s First Take at 10:30 a.m. CDT (9:30 MT).

The junior guard scored 37 points on 13-of-26 shooting from the field, including 3-of-8 from three and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. Ainge’s 37-point performance came in the second round of the 1981 NCAA Tourney versus UCLA.

Dave Rose, who claimed his first NCAA tournament win as head coach, will be a guest on the popular ESPN show Mike and Mike in the Morning, beginning at 8:10 a.m. CT (7:10 MT).

With a 30-5 record this season, Rose is the first coach in BYU history to win 30 games in a year. In five seasons at BYU, he’s led the Cougars to a record of 127-39, winning 20-plus games each year. Rose is the quickest head basketball coach in school history to reach 100 victories, securing his 100th win in November 2009 against Hawaii.
