Game Trends

— BYU held CSU to two field goals in the first 12:57 of the first half. The Rams had 7 field goals total in the half.

BYU Head Coach Dave Rose

"I thought that the first half was marred with fouls. We just fouled everywhere and had a hard time guarding them. I don't like to play guys to get their third fouls in the first half. Games are won in the second half. We were able to go into halftime with a 10-point lead weathering that situation."

"I thought our zone was a lot more active, plus it caused them some problems. Noah was terrific as far as defensive rebounds were concerned, getting the ball out into transition.

"One of the things that's really difficult is finding consistent scoring on the road. Confidence is such a big factor. If players can hit their first two or three shots, they get confidence in their game and it gets to their teammates."

"Right now is the most important part of your season because you set yourselves up to make these games, really really important. You rely on high-character kids. It's getting your ninth conference win, that's the whole focus of your group. Now the most important thing is to get your tenth conference win. This team is very good at that."

On Wyoming: "I can tell you this, his team is playing as hard as any teams in the country with nine wins. They hustle, they guard the whole floor. They're still playing for him and they're always tough there in the Arena-Auditorium."
