Why did you choose BYU? It was the best thing for myself and my wife, Maddie, who is on BYU’s track & field and cross country

How did you get started playing basketball? I love the team aspect and the challenge of getting better

Who do you look up to? I look up to my dad. He’s given me everything, especially the opportunity to pursue basketball and an education. He’s the greatest example of hard work and being a family guy.

What are your pregame rituals? Play FIFA and relax.

What is your favorite sport besides basketball? I liked playing football. I played wide receiver and corner in high school.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? I would really like to go to Europe. For one, I’ve never been there and I really like FIFA. I’d want to go to a couple soccer stadiums and watch some games.

What is something unique about you? I grew up on a dairy farm in Shelly. I can also play the piano. I learned so I could play some church hymns.

What do you do when you’re not playing basketball? Spending time with my wife.

What is your favorite movie? Remember the Titans

What is your favorite TV show? The Office

What is your favorite food? Mexican food

What do you want to do for a career? I want to be a dairy farmer and keep up the family tradition.

What is your favorite thing about BYU? The people and how much they care about us as students. The resources we have are unbelievable.
