PROVO, Utah – BYU basketball will continue its tradition of helping bring joy to families of children with cancer at the annual party for the Mac’s Gift Children’s Cancer Foundation on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

The foundation, formerly known as the Children with Cancer Christmas Foundation, has been renamed Mac’s Gift in honor of Mac Boyter, the organization’s founder. Boyter passed away in October of this year.

Each year the foundation collects monetary donations and unwrapped toys that go directly towards a Christmas party for more than 60 families living primarily in Utah County who have children with cancer. This year’s party will be held at the NuSkin Innovation Center in Provo on Wednesday at 6 p.m. MST.

The BYU basketball team and head coach Dave Rose and his wife Cheryl have been involved with Mac's Gift and the annual Christmas party for the past 14 years.

If you would like to donate to the foundation, visit MacsGift.com.
