Nickname: I have too many to list, but the two most common are: Rhino and Freebie.
Favorite cold cereal: I don’t always eat cereal, but when I do I choose Reese’s Puffs.
Why did I choose to play football over other sports: It was, and is, the most fun.
Before a football game, I: Relax.
Who is the best player I’ve ever faced: Jerry Hughes, TCU.
What would I like to do sometime in my life is: Visit every continent (except maybe Antarctica)
If I could play another position, what would it be:  Running Back.
Who has had the greatest influence on my football career: My long time trainer Leighton Weber.
What do I want to be doing 20 years from now: Raising a family and writing.
How did I select my jersey number: I had it in high school. Also the last two All-American centers at BYU were #50
What is my favorite hobby or activity away from football: Reading, watching movies, and writing.
What is the best book I’ve ever read: The Border Trilogy
People say I look like: A bear.
My favorite professor or most interesting class I’ve taken at BYU: Behavioral Neurobiology.
What is my most memorable athletic achievement: Playing in 2006 as a true freshman (and winning the conference championship)
If I had to give up all of my possessions except one, what would be the one thing I kept and why: My clothes. Being naked would get old­— especially in winter.

My advice to youngsters: Read books- good books.
If I were on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” the person I’d call for my lifeline is: My brother Josh. He’s a lawyer, he must know a lot.
One rule I’d change in college football is: Offensive holding
