Kaveinga Transfer Appeal Denied

PROVO -- BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall today announced that the school’s NCAA waiver appeal on behalf of USC transfer Uona Kaveinga has been denied.

As such, the junior linebacker will not be eligible to play in games during the 2010 season and will utilize a redshirt year. He will then have two years of eligibility remaining starting in 2011.
