Hall named Independent Offensive Player of the Week by College Sports Madness
PROVO, Utah — BYU sophomore quarterback Jaren Hall was named the Independent Offensive Player of the Week for week seven of the 2021 season by College Sports Madness.
Hall completed 22-of-31 passes for 342 yards and a touchdown in BYU's 38-24 loss at No. 20 ranked Baylor. Hall also rushed for a 56-yard touchdown, the longest of his career.
Despite missing two games due to injury in 2021, Hall has thrown for 1,205 yards in five games and has compiled 188 yards rushing. He has completed 95 of 153 passes with nine touchdowns for an efficiency rating of 143.7.
Hall joins Tyler Allgeier as the second Cougar to be named CSM Independent Offensive Player of the Week. Allgeier received the honor in week five of the season, following BYU’s 34-20 win at Utah State on Oct. 1. The sophomore running back carried the ball 22 times for 218 yards and three touchdowns versus the Aggies.
