Midpoint of spring practices features annual coaching clinic
PROVO, Utah – Nearly 200 high school coaches from five different states attended football practice on Wednesday while participating in the annual BYU coaching clinic.
High school coaches from Utah, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming were on hand to watch practice and spend time with the BYU coaching staff during the day.
Following practice, BYU coaches conducted breakout sessions where coaching techniques and drills were taught, demonstrated and discussed for all the positions.
BYU football conducted the eighth of 15 spring practices on Wednesday to begin the second half of spring drills, which will conclude on Saturday, April 7 with the annual public spring scrimmage at LaVell Edwards Stadium. The scrimmage will begin at 11 a.m. MDT, with gates opening at 10 a.m.
