Sitake announces Detmer relieved of offensive coordinator duties

PROVO, Utah — BYU head coach Kalani Sitake today announced Ty Detmer has been relieved of his role as the team’s offensive coordinator. Detmer served as offensive coordinator the past two seasons.

Detmer and all coaches remain under contract on the staff. BYU will immediately begin a search for a new offensive coordinator. The new coordinator will make decisions regarding the offensive staff.
