WHY I CHOSE TO PLAY FOOTBALL OVER OTHER SPORTS: I love to hit and the comradry of the game.

BEFORE A FOOTBALL GAME, I: listen to chill music and visualize myself playing.

HOW DID I SPEND MY OFF-SEASON: Lifting hard so I could get bigger and nastier.

WHO IS THE BEST PLAYER I’VE EVER FACED: Too many to count.

IF I COULD PLAY ANOTHER POSITION, IT WOULD BE: Tight end, you can block and catch the ball.

WHAT I WANT TO BE DOING 20 YEARS FROM NOW: Principal or education administrator

IF I WERE ON “WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE,” THE PERSON I’D CALL FOR MY LIFELINE IS: Josh Romney (my brother-in-law). He’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever met.

HOW DID I SELECT MY JERSEY NUMBER: It was my Dad’s number. I wear it to represent my family.

ON GAME DAY MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES: get together and eat lots of food and put on “Dawe pride” shirts to support me and BYU.

MOST MEMORABLE ATHLETIC MOMENT: when I earned a scholarship.

3 PEOPLE I’D INVITE TO DINNER: Jesus Christ, Rocky Balboa and my wife.

ONE RULE I’D CHANGE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS: O-line needs to be eligible!

WHAT WOULD I LIKE TO DO SOMETIME IN MY LIFE: Retire and be a high school football coach.

IF I WERE HOSTING A RECRUIT ON A VISIT TO PROVO, THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THING I’D HAVE TO SHOW THEM IS: Have me hang out with students and people at BYU. BYU is surrounded by great people.
