PROVO, Utah — Brigham Young University and the University of South Florida today announced the schools have agreed to a two-game football series beginning in 2021.

The Cougars and Bulls are scheduled to meet at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on Sept. 25, 2021 and at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo on Sept. 23, 2022.

“We look forward to this series with South Florida,” said BYU director of athletics Tom Holmoe. “It will be great opportunity for our team to play in an NFL facility at Raymond James Stadium and also welcome South Florida to Provo to experience LaVell Edwards Stadium.”

South Florida is a member of the American Athletic Conference. The football program is in its 18th season, with 15 years at the FBS level. The Bulls have made six bowl appearances, including every season between 2005-10, and have four bowl victories. USF has produced 14 All-Americans, 23 NFL Draft picks and reached No. 2 in the Associated Press Poll in 2007.

Kickoff times and broadcast plans for the series will be announced at a later date. For more information on BYU football, visit BYUcougars.com.
