Cougars prep for Friday scrimmage
PROVO, Utah—BYU football participated in its 14th practice of fall camp Thursday, preparing for a scrimmage at LaVell Edwards Stadium Friday evening.
The team began with stretching and position drills. In 11 on 11 Taysom Hill threw to Mitch Mathews for a 60-yard touchdown. Quarterback Christian Stewart also had a pair of touchdowns.
BYU’s defense recorded a strong performance, including a pick by Trent Trammell.
Friday the team will scrimmage at 6 p.m. MDT at the stadium. The scrimmage is open to the public.
