Football practice and photo day
PROVO, Utah -- BYU football held practice Thursday morning before participating in a photo shoot in the afternoon.
The team was dressed in full pads for practice again as it scrimmaged and ran individual and position drills. Both Taysom Hill and Christian Stewart threw for at least one touchdown during the scrimmage portion of practice. Hill found Ross Apo in the end zone on a deep ball with the senior receiver laying out to make the catch. Stewart, a senior quarterback, lobbed a pass over a defender's head to hit sophomore Colby Pearson in stride, which allowed the receiver to sprint the rest of the field for a touchdown.
After lunch, the team made its way to the Indoor Practice Facility to for the team's annual photo day. The players were dressed in their gameday uniforms, including jerseys, pants and cleats. The photos and videos will be used for television broadcasts and on the video boards at LaVell Edwards Stadium this season.
BYU will hold a closed practice on Friday as it continues fall camp.
