Eleven Named 2011 Academic All-MWC

Eleven BYU baseball players have been named to the Academic All-Mountain West Conference team.

Seniors Brock Luker (3.27 American studies) and Dane Nielsen (3.42 exercise and wellness) join juniors Chase Frampton (3.36 exercise and wellness), Wes Guenther (3.84 exercise science), Austin Hall (3.20 exercise science) and David Parry (3.82 accounting) as the veteran Cougars named to the squad.

Sophomore Michael Peterson (3.39 biology) and freshmen Matt Crowder (3.77 mechanical engineering), Bret Lopez (3.42 teaching physical science), Dillon Robinson (3.13 pre-management core) and Daniel Sechrest (3.63 economics) were also named to the team.

Guenther, Hall, Nielsen and Parry are repeat selections to the Academic All-MWC team.  Hall is a three-time selection to Academic All-MWC.
