- Interception versus the Sun Devils halted a drive deep into BYU territory and set up a Cougar touchdown moments later.

- Registered second-career pick-six in 38-26 win over Utah State and is tied for the national lead with two interceptions returned for touchdowns on the season.
- Tied with Cameron Oliver of UNLV and Eric Scott of Southern Miss
- Tied a career-high with 13 tackles in BYU's 26-20 (2OT) win over No. 9 Baylor on Sept. 10, 2022. The Baylor game marked Tooley's third-career double-digit tackle outing.
- Returned interception 35 yards for a touchdown to go along with five tackles (four solo) in BYU's 50-21 win at USF on Sept. 3.
