Parents are John and Margaret...brother, Jonathan, played for BYU...served an LDS mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina (north)...recruited by Stanford, UCLA, USC, Notre Dame, Washington, Washington State and San Diego State...married Allison Bowman in February 2001.

In 2002: Named by Phil Steele as a preseason third-team All-MWC selection.


In 2001: Played in all 14 games as a junior... recorded 17 receptions on the season, including a season high four receptions in a 35-31 victory at UNLV... tallied 183 yards during the regular season, averaging 10.8 yards per reception... recorded 30 or more yards in three different games, including a season-high 34 yards in a 54-34 win over Utah State... was credited with a season-high 33-yard reception against Air Force... scored the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter at New Mexico... earned All-MWC Academic honors.


In 2000: Caught two passes for 24 yards for the Blue squad in the Blue / White scrimmage... earned Academic All-Mountain West Conference honors... contributed on special teams, recording seven tackles on the season.
