In 2002: Named as preseason first-team All-MWC selection by the MWC media, Sporting News, Street & Smith's, Athlon Sports, Phil Steele and Jim Feist ... also named by Athlon Sports as preseason honorable mention All-American selection ... named by the Sporting News as the preseason MWC Offensive Player of the Year ... ranked by the Sporting News as the 25th top receiver in the country and ranked 29th by Jim Feist.
