Sophmore Year 2002

Earned Academic All-MWC honors ... sidelined prior to the season-opener (vs. Syracuse) with a herniated disk in his lower neck ... did not play against Hawaii ... saw action on special teams against Nevada after recovering from a neck injury earlier in the season ... started 7 games at left end during the season ... credited with 25 tackles on the season, including 8 solo takedowns ... registered a season-high 5 tackles against both Colorado State and Utah.

Junior Year 2003

A First-team CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII selection ... earned Academic All-Mountain West Conference honors ... started in all 12 games at defensive end ... ranked seventh on the BYU roster with 42 tackles, including 24 solo takedowns ... credited with six tackles for a combined loss of 22 yards, including 4.5 sacks for a combined loss of 14 yards ... credited with four pass deflections and two interceptions on the season ... posted a season-high six tackles against Notre Dame ... twice recorded five tackles, including three solo stops and two assisted takedowns against third-ranked USC and four solo tackles against Utah ... part of a defensive unit that held the league-leading Utes to just three points and 184 yards off their season total yardage average ... had an eight-yard interception return against USC ... credited with a blocked field-goal attempt against San Diego State ... received Defensive Player of the game honors for USC and Wyoming.
