Freshman Year 2008

  • Earned letterman honors as a freshman
  • Saw action in all 13 games for the Cougars, including his first career start in the game against Utah State
  • BYU's primary kick returner, returning 35 kicks for 809 yards, averaging 23.1 yards per return
  • His 35 kick returns in 2008 set a BYU and MWC record for most kickoff returns in a season
  • Returned 10 punts for 59 yards
  • Caught three receptions on the season for 42 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown reception against UNLV, marking his first career touchdown
