Parents are the late Budd Orr and Susan Dudley...married Lisa Gardner in January, 1988, and they have a daughter...one of the most-sought-after Cougar players ever...recruited by Miami, Texas A&M, Tennessee, UCLA, Arizona State...spent the 1986 season in basic training with the U.S. Army Reserve in Missouri and South Carolina.

Before BYU

High School - Originally recruited by BYU out of Taylorsville High, where he played for Doug Bills (Westminster)...lettered three years in football and track.

Other College - Played in 1985 and 1987 for Dixie Rebels (St. George, Utah) under Greg Croshaw...first team NJCAA All-America...MVP of the Western States Football League his sophomore year...also all-conference and all-region.
