Born 9/10/71 in Walnut Grove, California...father played football and baseball for BYU, 1962-64...graduated from Monte Vista High...served an LDS Church mission to Fiji, 1991-92...did a 1996 summer advertising internship in New York...graduated in advertising.

Academic All-WAC...selected as coaches' player of the game against Utah State...started against Utah State, Fresno State and Notre Dame...had an unassisted tackle and an assisted tackle at Notre Dame...had six unassisted tackles and three assisted tackles against Fresno State.
Academic All-WAC...injured his groin and did not play against Wyoming, Hawai'i or Tulsa.
Selected as a NACDA post-graduate scholar...Academic All-WAC...winner of the Robbie Bosco Courageous Award by the BYU coaches...had eight tackles vs. Texas A&M...missed much of the pre-season practice with injuries...did not play vs. Arkansas Sate...had nine tackles vs. UNM...had nine tackles and two pass deflections at Tulsa...did not travel to TCU because of an injury suffered at Tulsa...had an interception, five unassisted tackles and four assisted tackles vs. Wyoming.
Redshirted and had a knee operation.

Celebrating 20th anniversary of 1997 Cotton Bowl
