Born 10/3/70 in San Jose, California...parents are Clark and Cheryl...served an LDS Church mission to South Africa, from 1989-91...brother, Duane, played for BYU in late 80s...graduated from Provo High...married Gale Oborn, captain of BYU's women's volleyball team, in January, 1995...she was selected MVP of the 1996 WAC Volleyball Championships...completed undergraduate degree in English as a junior and graduated with a master's of public administration.
Summary
1997- Signed as a free agent with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Moved up to second unit as offensive tackle during drills...saw lots of playing time at New Mexico when Eli Herring was injured.
Broke into the starting lineup against New Mexico and started every game thereafter.
