Born 1/12/73 in Richfield, Utah...parents are Gilbert and Jerry...served an LDS Church mission to Cordoba, Argentina...married Michelle Cope in August, 1995...they have a daughter Bailee...older brother, Brad, played football two years at Stanford as a cornerback...older brother, Cory, played at BYU as a safety from 1993-94...prepped at Payson High...majored in English.

1994 - Played at Snow College where he was second team all-conference as a right cornerback...had four interceptions and 60 tackles...team finished ranked 12th in the nation.

Academic All-WAC...was coaches' defensive back of the game vs. SMU and UNLV...started against UNLV, Tulsa and TCU...intercepted a pass against UNLV and Rice.

Burger King $10,000 Scholarship Award...Honorable Mention All-Western Athletic Conference...Academic All-WAC...Cougar Club Scholar-Athlete...selected by the coaches as the outstanding defensive back for the season and winner of the highest grade point average on the team...blocked a field goal to start the second quarter vs. Washington...had four unassisted tackles at SMU...chosen coaches' defensive back of the game vs. SMU, Utah State and Hawai'i...seven tackles and three pass deflections vs. Utah State...against Hawai'i he had six tackles, the team's first interception of the year, and two pass deflections...critical interception vs. Tulsa in the third quarter...had five tackles and a tackle for loss at New Mexico.
