Parents are Otis and Carol...graduated with his bachelor's degree in April, 1992 in English with a minor in communications and is enrolled in BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School...wants to become a sports law agent...recruited by Utah, Cal-Fullerton and Redlands.

Before BYU

Prepped at North High...did not compete in organized sports until junior year...lettered in football and basketball...was all-league in football...set school records for most receptions and most yards in one game...coached by Chuck Hiroto (Redlands).

BYU Hall of Fame

Freshman Year 1990

Walked on to the program...caught a TD pass against Dixie College in junior varsity action.

Sophmore Year 1991

Had a 27-yard reception at Penn State...caught touchdown passes of six and 11 yards against Air Force, where he saw increased playing time because of injuries to Micah Matsuzaki and Bryce Doman.

Junior Year 1992

Caught a 41-yard pass in the spring game.
