Parents are Moli and Pele...real name is Simanua...married Esperanza Delos Santos and they have a son and a daughter...recruited by Hawai'i.

Before BYU

Gatorade Player of the Year for Hawai'i...won most inspirational player award at Farrington High...first-team OIA Eastern Division All-Stars...all-state...set school records for most touchdowns in a season, TD's in a game and points in a game...rushed for more than 1,000 yards as a senior and 800 yards as a junior...coached by Ed "Skipper" Diaz (Eastern Washington).

Freshman Year 1986

Missed the season due to Proposition 48.

Sophmore Year 1987

Played with the junior varsity.

Junior Year 1988

Rushed three times but returned a blocked punt four yards for a touchdown...played mainly on special teams...suffered a concussion and was hospitalized at the Air Force game.

Senior Year 1990

Carried five times for 15 yards in the spring game.
