Hogan played as a deep snapper (2016, 2019-22), appearing in 32 games. His career includes the following highlights:

  • Second Team All-Independent (2020)
  • In 2022, he played in seven games on special teams
  • Served as the 2021 team's starting deep snapper on field goals and PATs, playing in 10 games. He was a key scoring unit member that helped BYU rank No. 29 nationally at 33.1 points per game.
  •  In 2020, played in all 12 games during BYU's 11-1 season, helping the Cougars finish No. 11 in the final national rankings. He contributed with punt-snapping duties for five games while tallying three solo tackles on the season. With 62 PATs and 13 FGs to go along with 28 punts, he helped BYU score points and change field position without mistakes.
