At Richfield High he was all-state in football and basketball...was a state champion hurdler in track.

Was a jayvee starter.

Traveled with the varsity and caught a TD pass against UTEP.

Junior Year 1982

Receiver of the game vs. Hawai'i and SDSU...against Hawai'i he had four receptions for 74 yards...he had two catches for 53 yards at the Holiday Bowl vs. Ohio State...is BYU's second leading returning receiver behind Gordon Hudson.
