Major: My major is human development but I am also taking the prerequisites for nursing school. I plan on going to the University of Utah's nursing school after I graduate. In essence my major is human development and nursing.

Hometown: Sandy, Utah

Track and field events: 60m, 100m, 200m, 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400m relays

Reason for attending BYU: Besides the academics and track program I also wanted to grow spiritually, and BYU was able to offer all of that. My parents also attended BYU.

Best part of being on the BYU track and field team: The wholesome atmosphere and fun loving teammates.

Favorite movie: Sandlot

Best place to eat in Provo: Tucanos, J-dawgs, and Carrabba’s

Harry Potter, Hunger Games or Twilight: Twilight

If you could be doing anything in 10 years it would be: Raising my family

Favorite BYU sport other than track and field: Football. I grew up going to the games with my dad. I have watched BYU football ever since I was a little girl.

Funniest member of the BYU track team: Everyone has an incredible sense of humor. There is not one person on the team that stands out, yet the funny moments come from all of us interacting together.

Best catchphrase or line from a book, movie or TV show: “Michael ‘Squints’ Palledorous walked a little taller that day. And we had to tip our hats to him. He was lucky she hadn't beat the crap out of him. We wouldn't have blamed her. What he'd done was sneaky, rotten, and low... and cool. Not another one among us would have ever in a million years even for a million dollars have the guts to put the move on the lifeguard. He did. He had kissed a woman. And he had kissed her long and good. We got banned from the pool forever that day. But every time we walked by after that, the lifeguard looked down from her tower, right over at Squints, and smiled.” (from Sandlot)

Hidden Talent: I am artistic and enjoy singing.

Favorite pro sports team: Utah Jazz

Would you rather win an individual national championship or be a part of a national championship team: I would rather be a part of a team. You learn how to work together to become the best you can be. Everyone contributed. Everyone wins. You can’t get through life without help from others.

Best sport you play/played other than track and field: I played basketball my freshman year of high school and I love to play tennis.

If you had a time machine, when/where would you go and why: I would go back to the early 1900’s and design with Coco Chanel. I would also go back and buy stock in Apple as it was first starting out.

Best athlete in any sport at BYU: Mindy McClurkin. She holds school record in 60m, 200m, and 4x100m. She’s also my cousin.

If you could add one thing to the BYU campus, what would it be: I would turn the Richards Building stairs into an escalator (to go up) and a slide (to go down).

Favorite musical artist/band:I love all country music, as well as John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Kalai and Michael Buble.

Gatorade, PowerAde or Vitamin Water: Vitamin Water

Most embarrassing moment: I had missed my flight from the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris going to London. I was with one of my friends and we had to run to the other side of the airport to purchase a Chunnel ticket back to London before it closed. We dropped our bags and sprinted to the other side of the airport, which is huge. Well, I had a dress on that day and while I was running my dress had ridden up above my waistline. I kept on getting whistled at and I couldn’t figure out why. In essence, I had mooned all of Paris as I was sprinting through the airport.
