Track and field to compete at four meets in Southern California

PROVO, Utah — No. 2/No. 13 BYU men’s and women’s track and field is set to compete at four meets throughout southern California April 13-15.

Pacific Coast Intercollegiate

  • Date: April 13
  • Host: Long Beach State
  • Venue: Jack Rose Track Stadium | Long Beach, California
  • BYU women's events begin at 8:30 a.m. with the javelin throw and men's events at 9 a.m. with the pole vault.

Bryan Clay Invitational

  • Dates: April 13-15
  • Host: Azusa Pacific
  • Venue: Cougar Athletic Stadium | Azusa, California

  • BYU opens the meet on Thursday with women's steeplechase at 6:45 p.m. and men's steeplechase at 8:15 p.m.
  • The Cougars' Friday events begin with women's 800-meter at 2:30 p.m. and men's 800m at 3:20 p.m.
  • BYU's Saturday events at Bryan Clay begin with women's 5000-meter at 5 p.m. and men's 5000 at 6 p.m.

Beach Invitational

  • Dates: April 14-15
  • Host: Long Beach State
  • Venue: Jack Rose Track Stadium | Long Beach, California
  • Live Results
  • BYU women's events begin Friday at 9 a.m. with the javelin throw while the men start at 12:30 p.m. with pole vault. 
  • The Cougars' Saturday events begin at 9 a.m. with men's high jump while the women start at 9:30 a.m. with long jump. 

Mt. SAC Relays

  • Date: April 15
  • Host: Mount San Antonio College/Nike
  • Venue: Hilmer Lodge Stadium | Walnut, California

  • While the meet runs April 12-15, BYU athletes will compete only on Saturday in a series of Elite flights beginning with Cierra Tidwell Allphin in the women's high jump at 1:30 p.m. and Dallin Shurts in the men's discus throw at 1:45 p.m.
