Track and Field unveils Outdoor season schedule

PROVO, Utah — BYU track and field announced its 16-meet outdoor season schedule on Friday.

The Cougars will begin the outdoor season at USC’s Trojan Invitational on March 18-19 and remain on the road through the first five weeks of the spring.

BYU will host two outdoor meets at Clarence Robison Track and Field with the Robison Invitational on April 21-23 and the BYU Last Chance Meet on May 13-14.

BYU athletes will work throughout the season with the goal of setting a national qualifying time or mark. Qualifiers will advance to the NCAA West Preliminaries in Fayetteville, Arkansas on May 25-28. The outdoor season will culminate in the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon on June 8-11.

For now, the Cougars will cap-off the indoor season as seven athletes and the women’s distance medley relay team compete at the NCAA Indoor National Championships in Birmingham, Alabama on March 11-12. Tune-in to indoor nationals with a live stream on ESPN3.
