Brown-Gilbert, Cougars head to Sun Angel Classic
PROVO, Utah – Kelsey Brown-Gilbert leads BYU track and field into the Sun Angel Classic this weekend in Tempe, Arizona.
A few field events will be held on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, with the running events happening Saturday afternoon. The full schedule of events can be found at thesundevils.com.

Athletes to watch
Indoor All-American sophomore Shaquille Walker will run his first 800 of the outdoor season this weekend. At the Texas Relays two weeks ago, Walker ran a 1:45 split on the 800 leg of the sprint medley relay. Walker pursues the outdoor school record of 1:46.50.
Senior Zachary Stetler achieved a personal record in the shot put two weeks ago with a mark of 18.44 meters. Stetler currently holds the 27th best mark in the nation this year and will throw this weekend in Tempe.
At the Texas Relays, sophomore Anginae Monteverde moved into 10th all-time at BYU in the outdoor pole vault with a mark of 4.10 meters. Monteverde looks to match her indoor-best mark of 4.27 meters, which she set in February to qualify for indoor nationals.
Senior Kelsey Brown-Gilbert qualified for regionals in the 800 and 1,500 meters last week at the Stanford Invitational. Brown-Gilbert holds the seventh-best 800-meter time (2:03.95) in school history and will run the 800 meters this weekend.
