PROVO, Utah – BYU track and field travels to Charlottesville, Va., for the Virginia Challenge in its second to last meet before the NCAA regionals.

“As an independent, this meet will act as our conference championships,” BYU head coach Ed Eyestone said. “We will be travelling a large portion of our team looking to get ready for regionals.”

Colter Rockwell recently joined the team at the beginning of Spring Term and will look to qualify for regionals in the 800 meter race. Rockwell had a qualifying time earlier this year, but was running unattached.

Rachel McQuivey will compete in the long jump in an effort to improve her top mark of the season and qualify for regionals. Sarah Yingling and Evan Argyle will both look to improve their marks in the 1500 meter to qualify for regionals.

Travis Fuller currently sits at No.  52 in the west for the steeple chase and will look to improve his time ahead of the NCAA regionals.

A full list of the event schedule can be found at Virginiasports.com. Live results will also be available online.
