PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s tennis swept Nevada 7-0 Friday morning, as the Cougars got back in the win column after a heartbreaking loss to Fresno State last weekend. BYU moves to 4-6 on the season as the team begins its month-long road stretch leading into conference play.

Senior Leah Heimuli and junior Helen Jiao took the second win shortly after as the pair pulled away with stellar net play, beating Anastasia Luneva and Milka Genkova 6-2. The third and final doubles victory came to senior Anastasia Abramyan and freshman Bobo Huang, defeating Mariana Campino and Selina Turulja 6-3.
