PROVO, Utah – No. 67 BYU women’s tennis will host No. 37 New Mexico in Provo 10 a.m. Saturday at the BYU indoor tennis courts.

“The girls have been playing some good tennis,” BYU head coach Lauren Jones-Spener said. “We are looking to build off the momentum from last weekend and are excited to keep getting better with each match we play.”

In their first West Coast Conference match of the season last Friday, the Cougars (4-4) posted a convincing 5-2 win over Portland at home. Savannah Ware continued her stellar play, winning her eighth-consecutive singles. The sophomore has yet to lose in singles play this season. Seniors Meghan Sheehan-Dizon and Morgan Anderson-Littlewood also gave BYU a boost with straight-set victories in singles play against the Pilots.

The Lobos (8-2) will look to rebound after dropping their last match at No. 44 Colorado 5-2. New Mexico also visited No. 51 Denver last weekend and left with a 4-3 victory over the Pioneers. The Cougars fell in Denver earlier this season 5-2.

Live stats and video will be available through the BYU women’s tennis schedule page at match time.
