Batty, 4x400m relay team qualify

AUSTIN, Texas – Miles Batty and the men's 4x400 meter relay team qualified for the NCAA Outdoor National Championships on Saturday, the final day of the West Preliminary Round.

Batty finished second in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 3:45.88. The 4x400 meter relay team posted the second-best time in school history at 3:06.21 while finishing eighth overall.

With the preliminary round in the book, eight members of the men's track team qualified for five individual events and one relay. One the women's side, three athletes qualified for three individual events.
